almark: Know what you mean, I was pulling my hair out over it, hence my putting this guide up. Best thing you can do (if you can be arsed) would be to start afresh: uninstall Action Register and download it again. Failing that, a hard reset might clean out any dodgy registry entries that have been dropped by AR. Are you in the UK? What SIM are you using in your SPV?

I am in the UK (Northern Ireland) I have an sim unlocked UK SPV with the UK update, and a 256MB SD Card.
My name, mobile no. and IMEI are all reconised. I get as far as this page:

My phone has a G symbol displayed. When i click on OK, I go back to the first page. I have disabled Zone Alrm, but still nothing seems to happen.
I can access the Internet via GPRS. I can receive SMS text messages.
I am sorry if I am being completely thick!!!

You're not being thick. Immediately after you come to the above screen, use the [End call] button to cut the GPRS connection, wait a few secs. then go and visit any website of your choosing. see what happens.

Did that, nothing seemed to happen. Their didn't appear to be a call to end. I was able to access the internet as always, but no message about SPV Unlock!
Chris, thanks for your help, but I'm knackered and so off to bed, my SPV needs charging anyway. I'll try again tomorrow!
BTW I am using my orange sim

almark: OK, more or less the same problem I had - the process went fine (no error messages at all) yet no confirmation. Action Register needs to make a data call, sometimes it doesn't seem to do so (who knows why?). Before you start the decert process, go and visit any old website and leave the GPRS conection active. Then you can try running AR. This worked for me, at any rate.

Hello,
I followed your procedure, but once I run Action Register, I get to the screen with my IMEI and Phone #... All is OK
but then I get :
Status : Action Lock is not running
phone is registered
When I click on menu>Run Action Lock
It tells me nothing...
And when I click on Register, it tells me Action lock must be running...
Can someone help ?

Maber:
Sørg for, at du allerede har været på nettet med din fon.
Dernæst går du herhen! Click Me

We were explaining it in Danish, because someone was having problems with the english translation!
If someone had a solution to your problem, I'm sure they would post it in english *sigh*.

Hi!
I'm still having problems.. Is it at all possible to Unlock the phone without using GPRS connection and just normal CSD dialup? I can't use GRPS on my SPV with my current SIM...
Regards, TnT

Hmm, I really don't know - in any case, Orange need to discover your currently-assigned IP# so the de-cert process can continue. Try this: get on the net using your CSD connection and visit www.myip.dk - it'll give you an indication of whether your IP# will be visible to Orange's de-cert server.
