Resolved - was a driver issue with the HP laptop. Now I just need to work out how the Internet passthrough works with WMDC......

Hey, can you still acess the PDA through my computer?
just interested as im going to be going to vista soon

Yes, it browses the same, if not better. You can see your device in My Comuter and even the memory card separatly.
