I'm currently using TomTom 6 on a Nokia E50 with a bluetooth GPS but the screen is too small and time to destination etc is hard to read.

I use it quite a bit so was contemplating getting a dedicated Satnav but the the PDA side of things would be useful on the Orbit.

I'll probably keep my nokia as a phone (got a car kit).

Is the Orbit good enough to use as a standalone SatNav.

On another point does Camera Aware work in a similar fashion to a Road Angel?

i used a Magicain and Co-pilot for 18 months and it was an absolute star!!  the only reason i changed is because, well, i fancied a change back to Smartphone!!  i considered the all-in-one solution but in the end plumped for a TomTom one and Vox.  i s'pose it boils down to whether or not you need to run the minimum number of toys or not...  it doesnt make any odds to me that i have a dedicated Satnav and separate phone/organiser so the form factor of the phone won!

its the tiniest pain in the @ss to keep hooking out the TomTom every time but it gets slung in the laptop case along with all the other gubbins i use so its not really a hassle - the PDA went into the shirt pocket and the BT GPS was out of sight anyways.

i think overall the PDA GPS solution is better in terms of cost and flashness but its horses for courses...
