Anyone have any ideas to help me out?

I bought some replacement styli from ebay, and unfortunately they were really shoddy. I put one into the vario, and voila! The tip has come off and is firmly wedged inside.

I've tried a few things but it's not moving.

Well that's where the tip is sticking - on that white clip. You could open up the device (Warranty voiding) and get it out. Or if you were very careful put a spot of super glue on the remaining part of the stylus and insert it and hold long enough to lock onto the tip and then withdraw - possibly a bit hit or miss.

I only just saw the reply, and fixed it. I had to google to find a different service manual to matched my Vario better, but it was pretty simple.
