Guest Paul (MVP) Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 While browsing through the site of MoDaCo Plus Partner Semsons today (where MoDaCo Plus members receive a 10% discount don't you know!), I came across the rather nifty looking bit of kit below at a bargain price of only $4.99 - it's an extUSB to miniUSB / 3.5mm converter. Unfortunately shipping costs from the US means it's probably only a viable purchase for those also on that side of the pond (unless you pick up one of their wide range of BT GPS at the same time), but it looks like a very hand piece of kit to have! However just as an alternative (although it is more expensive but is shipped from the UK) is this: http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?partner=modaco&i=144681. Discount is available for ordering 5 or more and the shipping cost of £4.05 for between 1 and 4 and then £6.33 for 5 or more. We'll need to factor in the cost of postage once they arrive in the UK plus any paypal fees as people send me the cash, but we're looking at under a fiver now i'd say.
