Guest chiefdave Posted July 21, 2007 Report Share Posted July 21, 2007 does anyone know if there's going to be any major difference between the kaiser and the vario III, they're not going to shoot themselves in the foot and turn some features off are they??? also how much cheaper would you expect it to be on contract than buying an htc version from expensys or somewhere similar. if it's out in september i can either buy an htc unit now or wait a couple of months till my contract expires. I know the tmobile branded one will be silver and not black. Which is tempting me to get the HTC version instead. Other than that it should be fully featured. It's a complete guess, but I'd expect the Vario III to be around £50 more than the Vario II. I'm also in two minds whether to get one on T-mobile or the black HTC but will probably get the cheapest option, even if I'd prefer it in black. I called them yesterday afternoon, they still had no information, so I asked for my PAC code and told them that Vodafone are expecting release on the 17th, she then went away and came back saying they still dont have a confirmed date, but it's going to be at least 2 weeks... There is a website selling them on pre-order and it says something "like expected in 18 days", I'll see if I can find it, there is a link in a forum somewhere. I just phoned the upgrade department and on a Flext 75 contract they tried to charge me 19.99 for it. I told them not interested unless it was free and after the lady spoke to her manager they agreed to do the deal for Free. Getting it tommorow before 1pm. YIPPEE!!
