Help with settings

Hi All

I am looking for a bit of help with a little project I'm involved in. I have an app that sync's data to a central database via the PPC's data connection (WM5 M3100). I created the cab to install the app on the device and place it's shortcut on the start menu but the app seems to fall over whenever any other features take control.

Is there a registry tweak i could build into the installatino cab that will make my app override any active connections?

Any help really appreciated as this is my first attempt at doing anything lke this.
