I have tried everything i know to get mms working on the i600 but its no go. I used the original samsung pre loaded settings but that didnt work, so i deleted everything and manually inputted my internet connection which works great for email and web access, then i put the wap details in and went to mms settings and set that up as the instructions on here and still it fails to send mms, the error i keep getting is "unable to connect verify your profile settings and try again.

Anyone any ideas

Thanks

Chris

I have this exact same problem and it is getting a bit annoying now!

Web/GPRS working fine.

All MMS settings seem perfect, but it just wont send.

Has anyone got any answers on this??

Thanks,

Simon

I know what the problem is however there is no solution. MMS needs to use its own connection so if you have a data cennection already active it will fail to send. If i disconnect my current gprs connection mms will send perfectly however as i use push email this is really hard to do as soon as you disconnect it immediately reconnects. This is a bug with the samsung phone every other phone i have had will do this all automatically its a bad ommission

I also have defect mms settings, and get the same error. I use the Norwegian operator Telenor. MMS worked fine before, even after upgrading to WM6 (I think...). Suddenly it stopped working. I have tried everything to get it to work, but noe luck. It does not help to stop other dataconnections.

Just to confirm that chrissyboy is RIGHT!

I too was having problems with MMS a few months ago until I discovered that I had to kill the 3G connection and then it worked.

I use Windows Live and with the default setting, it synchronises mail AS THEY ARRIVE, which means that even if you are not signed into MSN, the Windows Live Email Account is still constantly connected to the hotmail server so as soon you turn your phone on, GPRS/3G/HDPA connects!

Even if you kill the data connection, it only reconnects again instantaneously!

The one way around this that I know of is to simply set Windows Live to synchronise every 15 minutes or 30 minutes or as you like, and then you will be able to kill the data connection and quickly send an MMS. Also when you turn your phone on again, it will not connect immediately until 15 or 30 minutes or whatever time you set it to, passes by.

A pain I know but I rarely send MMS so its cool with me and at least there is a way if needed.

Thanks.
