Guest mistagorilla Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 hi, a real noob question this. got a hermes 300 on t-mo wnw. even if I have no programs running that require access to internet (ie, opera, msn messenger) the phone reconnects to my 3g internet connection every few minutes. firstly, does this matter, i.e. is it sucking up my data allowance? secondly, how do I get it to stop doing this if necessary? one possible pointer: it didn't do this before I started using msn live messenger. any help gratefully received... Guest Paul (MVP) Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 WLM has a tendency to connect via GPRS rather than 3G. Since WnW is unlimited*, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
