Does anyone know if the Touch will accept Line 2?

I don't think so.
In the past no Pocket PC Edition phone supported this feature.
I doubt that's it's available on the Touch.
You can try to edit the Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\State\Phone
and set MultiLine Capabilities=1
You should then see a "1" in the topbar.
