i purchased a 02 xda graphite to update my htc tornado.  But im having a few problems.  The phone seems to cause a lot of interference to anything close by.  This doesn’t annoy me as muck, but when your on the phone you can always hear the interference coming through the speakers every 5 secs or so and this is annoying.  

I dont know if its linked to the speaker on the back, but i would like to see if its possible to turn this speaker off as it always seem to be constantly on.  Does anyone know how to turn it off or how i can reduce the interference.
