Guest Dakers
Hi all, I'm running a T-Mobile Vario II, flashed with Black Majik. I'm having an issue in being able to receive MMS messages. I get a prompt on screen that it needs to close my existing data connection in order to receive the message, and if I say Yes, it tries to connect to T-Mobile MMS, but then it appears that the T-Mobile Internet connection jumps on top of it and barges out the way. Is there any way I can get the connections to play nicely? I've tried going into the settings for the T-Mobile Internet connection, and un-ticking the box that says that it connects to the internet, and telling all my mail accounts to sync only on Manual, in an effort to give the T-Mobile Internet connection less reason to run, but I'm still failing. Obviously what I've just done isn't great for the long term, as it stops my Push Hotmail and other accounts from working as I'd like. Does anyone have any pointers? Paul. Guest MarkNi
Try this Step 1 Got start->settings->connections tab->connections Here you will see the name of your main data connection, probably "T-Mobile Internet" Select the proxy settings tab and ensure the box "this network connectes to the internet" is checked. Step 2 Then create a new MMS (this is the only way I know to access MMS settings). From the new MMS access Menu->Options->Message Options Under the "servers" tab select the connection name determined in the first step "T-Mobile Internet" Ensure the "Connect via" is set to "The Internet" - If this is different then this will cause the problem you described. I hope this helps. Mark. Hi all, I'm running a T-Mobile Vario II, flashed with Black Majik. I'm having an issue in being able to receive MMS messages.
