I went into www.virginradio.co.uk (as was advised by the Virgin website for streaming to Mobile) but couldnt pick anything up. Any tips please? It opens up in Windows Media Player. The quality of the stream is not great, but it gets me by in the drone of annoying voices at work ;) On the top left of the WMP screen there is a message saying 26kbps. I don't know if this means 26kbps per minute or per second. But which ever, would this be OK to use on basic web n walk? Or will i get a dirty bill at the end of the month??? I stream various stations on my train journey in the morning (Capital, LBC etc) very good quality on 3G. 26 kilo bits per second. I quickly checked the terms & Conditions and it looks like streaming media is now included in the basic W&W package. Guest hicks Posted October 11, 2007 Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 The BBC radio feeds all work very nicely in Real Player on my VIII. To save fishing around the BBC site on my phone I browsed to the various stations, played the station, hit the "play in standalone player" button then saved the .ram file onto my phone. Resco radio also works well. Oddly I'm sure I'm only on basic W&W, but streaming from BB, and using the Orb plugin for winamp to stream from my home PC to my phone, AND using Live messenger all work just fine. Guest miker33 Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 Have your tried resco pocket radio? its a very good application for streaming internet radio and has load of stations including virgin radio http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/radio/ Just been trying Resco pcoket radio and I really like it, now if they could get windows media support in there it would be a must have for me as it's so much easier than messing with the internet\media player to get the radio stations on. Copy the following URLs to your machine and make them favourites in IE.
