Cisco VPN client for Kaiser?

Anyone know of a VPN client that will run on the V1615 and play nice with a connection to a Cisco VPN endpoint?

I think I looked at one called Bluefire before but had no luck (it couldn't handle the length of password we use). Keen to try some others....

If I can get that working, together with my Remote Desktop tool, I'm laughing!

Loving my V1615!!

Ok. I revisited this and I got Bluefire to connect in. Hooray. Only problem is that I wanted to connect to my VPN gateway and then launch a Remote Desktop session, but I'm having trouble with the Remote Desktop. Is there a way I can verify it's trying to use the VPN connection?

Done a bit more playing and it definitely seems as if although Bluefire establishes the VPN, no traffic gets sent through it. I thought it might be to do with the Network Adaptors settings, but Bluefire makes no entries in there. Using vxUtil I can see that an adaptor created by Bluefire has been assigned the correct IP etc - I just don't seem to be able to get any of the other apps on the phone to use that adaptor Help!

Are you guys trying to remote access your PC from your Kaiser? I was provided with Cisco VPN client software (from work) on my work laptop to connect to my office desktop, Outlook and drives from home through my own home modem. Will I be able to connect using Cisco VPN client/Bluefire on my Kaiser?

...or have I got the complete wrong end of the stick (as I'm not knowledgeable in networking)?

yep, that should be possible. i'm just having some issues with my pptp connection in I think (or specifically whichever setting it is I ned to change to get apps on the kaiser to send their data down the tunnel!)

Reading this because I was curious of same-

Want to connect to my office network (Cisco VPN Concentrator 3000) via my T-Mo MDA/Wizard.

Found that BlueFire is presumably compatible (as I know Cisco doesn't always play well with others).

Hoping all goes well and I can fix servers anytime, anywhere.

Will advise of my trials and tribulations.
