hi there, i have a orange spv m3100 which i love but, one thing is really annoying me. i have recently been working in an area with poor phone reception and at the end of the day, when i get home, i have no signal still. i have to reset my phone to pick up any signal. a friend of mine with a sony ericsson (also on orange) has turned off his 3g thingymajig because he used to have a similar problem. since then he has had no problems at all.

has anyone else experienced anything similar?

do i need to turn off my 3g signal? (it's crap in east devon anyway)

if so how do i do it??

pleeeeease hlp me. it's doing my head in!! lol

afterall i don't really use it

Go to settings, Phone, Band and change the top box from Auto to GSM.

Your battery will last a lot longer and you will get better signal in dodgy areas.
