Hi everybody,
this is my first post eventhough i've been reading this forum quite a lot.
Ok now to the main part.
I'm interested in changing the pool size of my touch. I's brand new  and me beeing a noob i'm not ready yet for the ROM flash.
I was wondering if pool change voids warranty?
There are apparently two ways of doin this. One is from Paul here from modaco and the other one from xda-developers(this one is supposed to be easier for firs time users).
The other question is do I have to CID unlock my device before doing this?

CID unlocking is part of my guide.

It's really worth doing, I don't know about voiding the warranty, but it's pretty difficult to destroy your device this way, in fact, you can't. You'll always be able to reflash by finding a copy of the original Touch ROM!
