Guest mandt
So you just want to have a big clock? the easiest way would be to install a digital clock today plugin and disable HTC Home
Guest foaf
Yes, kinda, but not quite. Using a registry editor Navigate to: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\HTC\HTCHome\TabSetting Edit the "String" "1,2,3,4,5". The numbers represent the order so you can change it. Removing them will remove the button. I have removed buttons, but not all of them so I do not know the effect. Try it and soft reset to see what happens. Guest mandt
That won't work, all removing the key will do is make HTC Home revert to it's default settings.

Guest mandt
That registry key isn't there by default on the Touch anyway, it can be added to some devices to show all six tabs, but does nothing on the Touch (I've tried) Like I said in my first reply if you want to remove all the tabs and just show the clock it would be easier for you do disable HTC Home and find a free digital clock today plugin
Guest mrwonderfull
so i guess no one knows how to change the reg edit to remove only certain tabs on the kaiser ? or is it dependent on the rom that the options 1,2,...etc show up? Guest mandt
If the reg value isn't there you'll need to enter it as required, then soft-reset. As with all registry changes, power off by holding down the power button, don't just soft-reset with the stylus
