Hi there, I'm looking to get a new phone (to replace my broken one) and am unsure on what to go for (too much choice ;) )

I have been looking at another S710, an S730 or a HTC Touch, any opinions on what would be the best device? I'm pretty much a casual user and the only things that are really required is WM6 for the built in voip client and wifi to avoid huge data charges. Any recommendations/opinions on the devices I have mentioned or other devices within the £300(sim free) margin would be great.

Another question, I have been looking at where to buy from. I have been looking at both expansys and devicewire since their prices are very similar, any opinions on these stores/other places to buy from.

thanks :(

I have an S710 and am looking at a Touch (although I'm kinda nervous about the usability after so long with QWERTY devices).

I still don't rate the S710 very highly, and only use it because the battery life on my Blackjack became unacceptable.

I've bought from Handtec, Hi-mobile.net and Clove before, all of which seemed good on price (it's always worth shopping around though).

I'm probably going to chance my arm on eBay for my next one as I change phones so often that I can't afford to keep buying at SIM-free prices.

What are your complaints with regards to the S710?

Thanks for the reply ;)

S710 is sluggish (still a little slow after overclocking IMO)

The keyboard is a little cramped, and it's taken a while to get used to the "unusual" key layout

The numeric keypad is too close to the bottom of the phone, which means that I get cramp in my thumb when trying to use it for some things (Solitaire for example)

These are the same issues I had with it when I first got it (except the overclocking) and I've never got used/over them

Hmm, I was looking at the Touch and the P4350, both of which have the same processor as the S710, perhaps I should wait for the S730 with the faster processor
