Is there  an app that plays music with the album art full screened? and can you use the touch screen to skip tracks?

anyone? am i being stoopid, i've read loads of the posts here and flooded my Tytn with different software and skins to better all the iphone users out there but I really need my album art shown off

I've seen some of the skinner's putting the album code art up but I want it showing off in 'slideshow' style.

Also, what is the best size for a square image? 240x240? I guess the image is gonna lose quality if it's scaled up or down

cheers

The CAB IS working. Download doesn't really work with desktop Opera (unless you rename the resulting PHP file to CAB); with IE, it's working OK.

You could try using Conduits Pocket Player which has an awsome Album art screen, taking up the whole screen. Google the website and see screenshots yourself. I have had an Ipod/Creative Zen and alway liked showing off the album artwork but have to say Pocket Player on my Elf is the best looking of the lot.

Of course, while the CAB is working, the player itself is useless - it's unable to play anything, as can also be seen at http://www.petervajd...Lumen/news.html

BTW, the player is written using CF2, which means you can't expect it to be fast at playing back anything, unless it calls native code.

hehehehehe, so I downloaded lumen, saw all the ituney stuff and liked the look of it, went straight to the lumen site and read about sync'ing with itunes without reading the bit about it being a non working app.

doh!

I realised this after I  downloaded itunes and tried to sync it, then went to the website and read it again.... all of it!

I solved my fullscreen problem by getting hold of the HTC_Player skin and adjusting the .skn file in notepad. I also blacked out the .gif files,  so now it has a  240x240 picture and a black key section at the bottom.

I still get the windows top and bottom, the HTC_Player skin has a fullscreen button but it doesn't work, does anyone know how to do fullscreen?

The first thing you want to realise is that album art is normally square -- 100x100 or whatever. Your screen is not square, it is a rectangle. Either you're going to have it stretched and it'll look ugly, or you're going to have black spaces above and below the album art -- which may as well be filled in by useful buttons. In this case, I recommend TCPMP.
