Guest badbob001
I find it very annoying that when I hold the phone up like any other camera-phone instead of sideways as they want you to, the resulting picture is landscape instead of portrait. And then I have to go rotate them manually if I want to use them as my wallpaper or to look correct from the neo photo browser. Here's a hack to fix that: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\Image] "EnableEncodePortrait"=dword:00000001 Old value was 0. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Pictures\Camera\OEM] "IsPortraitScreen"=dword:00000001 I think the original value is already 1. Note that the camera interface will still be sideways. Did they just copy the camera app from the landscape dash device with no modification to support portrait mode? I wish the camera app is like the one on the motorola rizr: slider closed: assume landscape mode slider opened: assume portrait mode
Guest smfa1965
Thanks for that hack. I as well like taking photos in portrait mode, not landscape.

I like the Landscape version better (panoramic picture doesn't work either). I tried the opposite of the hack to move back to landscape and it doesn't work. Anyone has any ideas?
