I have a friend with a Blackberry and he can set his phone to Vibrate once for SMS and twice for Emails etc etc.  That would be awesome to do on this phone.  Anybody know of a program or a way of doing it?

Welcome to the site :(
You could alter the registry on older devices to change certain notifications but i'm not sure how easy it is on newer devices.
Have a look here for one method.

That would work once you get down one thing... being able to make separate notifications for  SMS and Outlook Email.  Right now in WM6 smartphone, you can just apply one setting that covers both.  You cannot separate them.

i.e.  You get a text and your phone vibrates twice in your pocket.  Then you get an email and your phone vibrates once.  So if I feel it vibrate twice I will want to check it right away because email I usually check later when I'm not busy.
