Ok so I made a decent theme. I need to change the color of the start menu. How?...please do not say basehue. Has to be a diff way. I also need to change the font coloring. Can some of you awesome theme experts tell me how I would go about doing said things?....thanks much anyone that helps me...I guess I will just have to deal with this horrible looking theme for now....sigh.

Also how do I take screenshots?....what program would I use? I wanna show off this theme.

I will post it when I finish it completely.

Thanks,

Nick.

Hamsuplo posted his theme which included a schema xml file that defines what colors to use.

http://www.modaco.com/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=859865

Open his blue.schema.xml and you'll see:

<colorscheme>

	<title>Blue</title>

	<scheme>

		<color name="COLOR_TRAYGRADLEFT" value="#044494" />

		<color name="COLOR_HOMEHIGHLIGHT" value="#00143C" />

		<color name="COLOR_HOMEHIGHLIGHTTEXT" value="#044494" />

		<color name="COLOR_HOMETEXT" value="#FFFFFF" />

		<color name="COLOR_HOMERULE" value="#2e444f" />

	</scheme>

</colorscheme>

To make your own, just create a new xml file, change the title, change the contents in scheme, and copy to application data\home (I think). Then you will see your schema title as a color choice in the today screen config page.

You can see hex color choices here:

http://apps.everamber.com/alpha/

There are MANY color options for the homescreen, but the ones above should be good enough. See all the options here:

But that

I love you. But ya I made a scheme...just couldnt figure out where to put it. It was irritating...cause my start bar looks like garbage. Do you know what

color name="COLOR_TRAYGRADLEFT" value="#044494" />

Pertain to...like what parts of the menus? Thanks so much.

EDIT: Nevermind man....I followed the links and it explains all that. Thanks..I am going to start calling you Lifesaver
