I was playing with comm manager and turned off data connection, and now I can't figure out how to turn it back on as the button is no longer selectable. I'm sure this is something simple I am missing. My manual isn't with me or i would check :( I have tried restarting the phone, as well as connecting with IE. Could someone help me out here please.

It should automatically reconnect as soon as you try to use it (i.e the internet)

I had a similar problem, having turned off my Wi-Fi in the Comm Manager. Now that I am using T-Mobile Total Internet, I can't use local Wi-Fi networks for even faster access. How can I reset it manually?

What do you mean you can't use the wi-fi? I have Total Internet and I use the wi-fi in my house all the time.

Well, that was true for me too, until I turned off Wi-Fi in the connection manager. Now, the button is deactivated in my comm manager. I can't seem to reactivate it. I can't search for local Wi-Fi networks or connect to any of them.

When I go to Comm Manager > Settings > Wi-Fi > Connection Status, it now says "Status: Driver is not loaded."

That's really odd.. :(

I'm sure a hard reset would fix it, but that's no fun..

that *is* really odd. I turn wifi on and off all the time. it just puts a little x on the button when it is off. never seen it disabled. data however, will diasable the button when I turn it off. then I just have to use something that involves data and it will automatically turn back on.

My picture messaging wasn't working last week either. I called Customer Care, and after about an hour on the phone, the only help they could offer me was to exchange my phone. Finally I decided just to do a hard reset though, and it solved the problem. It sucked to have to do that, but I guess it was worth it.
