Orange SVP E650 - Unlock

Hi

I'm still confused, is my smartphone unlocked or not?.

I used the fix + de-branding software from here: http://www.modaco.com/SPV-E650-de-Brand-Fix-P-t255845.html and i must say my mobile looks and works great now with no problems, many thanks for all your hard work making the above fix pack.

Questions

1: If not how do i unlock it.

2: What are the benefits if it's unlocked.

4: Why is it when i do a reset all the Orange stuff re-appears. (i have to re-install the de-branding + all software i have installed.

5: Is there a program like "Acronis True-Image" for my mobile. I use Acronis on my Computers and it's very good.

1. If you find there is something you cannot install because of insufficient permissions you could try the OrangeFrance website or the registry modifiactions mentioned elsewhere.

2. Removing the application unlock means that you can install unsigned software or do the various available tweaks.

3. Is the magic number.

4. If you do a hard reset you will get all the original stuff back but not just if you power off / on.

If you used the debrander + prep, you are app unlocked!
