After completing a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade on the UK version of the  Samsung i600, any additional POP3 or IMAP email accounts that you  create will be deleted if you change the operator settings (Start ->  Settings -> Operator Settings) from one network to another.

For example, if you have created a POP3 email account on the  device, and swap SIM cards from Vodafone to Orange, and then  subsequently change the operator settings to access GPRS / 3G / MMS on  the new network, the POP3 account will be deleted, and will no longer  be visible or accessible from Start -> Messaging or the home screen.  This is particularly inconvenient for people who regularly use multiple  SIM card (for example Work and Personal telephone numbers).

The UK Samsung i600 support team are currently investigating the issue, however whilst I am waiting for a resolution, I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced the same problem and come up with fix themselves?

Thanks,
Steve

Same here. Changing SIMs or even just operator settings deletes the POP3/IMAP email accounts.
This is a serious disadvantage. So far, I haven't found a solution for it.  :(
