If your pc/laptop has BT, then you could use activesync internet passthrough over BT. If it doesnt then you could add a BT dongle to pc/laptop cheaply. Range wont be as good as wifi but it will work wirelessly.

I was planning on that but would prefer a solution that's portable (AKA something that goes in my pocket)
