I currently have pocketSNES on my phone and it works well, especially w/o audio.

I have pocket cult MAME running on mine as well as pocket nester 1.53.
They were pretty straight forward to put on the phone. Good luck finding the ROMs for MAME though. 
They are getting harder and harder to get.
