Hi, I am having an issue with my phone where I never receive notification of text messages. My profile is configured to Vibrate and ring, but neither happens when I receive a text message. The icon for the text message does not come up and the home screen reports 0 text messages, but I can see that I have new messages by opening the Messages program.

How can I fix this problem? I am running the Cingular rom 4.1.502.5 on this phone.

Yeah, I noticed this as well. I get the notification that I have a text message, then my battery cover goes off or I turn the phone off manually and when I restart, the text message is not there.
