  • Interests:The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

Good Podcast....
Must be hard to do on a slow news week. Maybe thats a good time to throw in a newbie section at the end. Or hack of the week.

Keep up the good work! :) We're Listening!

Do you listen?
Yes! To the regular MP3 version. I cant figure out how to get the enhanced version to play without iTunes.

What do you like?
I like to hear your commentary on the news. Insights that you may not have written about.

What do you not like?
I dont like when I feel listeners need to read up on every article to know what you're talking about. Sometimes I feel the PodCast is directed toward regular readers of the site, who already know what you are talking about and can go without a deeper explanation of the topic. There are alot of newbies out there who may get lost in your conversation. (the same people who keep unzipping cab files to install after all these years) :)

I HATE THE WORD PODCAST! I dont have an ipod, nor do I use iTunes. Why should I listen to a PodCast? I think hat is Apple marketing that had worked great for them, but not for the rest of the listening world. Almost think the term turns some people off of listening....the die-hard apple haters. (Which I am not, but I still prefer something different).
MoDaCast
MoDaCoBroadcast
The MoDaCo Show
Fun Times with Chris and Paul
ANYTHING! :D

Should we do them weekly or bi-weekly?
I wouldnt want you to feel pressured to do weekly PodCasts and scramble for content on a weekly basis. Personally, I'd prefer jam packed bi-weekly Podcasts than weaker Weekly PodCasts. You could always do an extra PodCast when some breaking news hits that needs to be talked about.

Show 1.0 - BiWeekly broadcast (1 hr)
Show 2.0 - BiWeekly broadcast (1 hr)
Show 2.1 - Mobile Conference Special (1/2 hr)
Show 3.0 - BiWeekly broadcast (1hr)
Show 3.1 - TYTN III Special Report
Show 4.0 - Possible Monthly VideoCast Special that includes video reviews, etc

I definitely like the weekly segments. Think you should define them more...with a big Audio Title read by a deep voiced announcer:
AND NOW, THE MODACO APPLICATION OF THE WEEK.

And think about a newbie section (at the end). Something you or I may take for granted but new listeners may want to know.

That is all......
