Yea you really need to overclock the phone for the games to run smoothly. I followed these steps and it worked pretty well. http://www.coryniels...g-the-blackjack
New Question: Does anyone know how to transfer saved games files from the phone back to the computer. Theres a part of chrono trigger that is really hard to do with the keys on the phone but I can't figure out how to transfer the saved game.
Thanks

does anybody else have the problem with the right side edge of games get cut off and for some reason shows up on the very left of the screen?
I figured it out... Im A dumb *ss.. even after reading step 0 and 1, I still downloaded the wrong one.
so if any one else has a problem viewing the whole screen you probally also downloaded the wrong one
MAKE SURE TO USE PocketSNES153.rar
also to get sound to work i checkmarked the boxes-sound emulation, sync sound and stereo.. if that helps anyone else.

Hey Athenon I'm getting some issues with Lockups and sound not working and then working and some games not loading etc. So what I'd like you to do is post all of your settings including your overclock speed just so I can get an idea where to start.
Landscape or Portrait...
Frame Skip Setting
Sound checkboxesand bitrate as well as quality tick mark setting.
Overclock speed.
Anyone who has it working perfectly can post this I just need to make sure I'm not missing something.

My settings are in the quote below. One idea is that youre overclocking too much.

Yeah I find the phone to be very unstable outside of the stock 252 setting which is disappointing. But some of the games work fine with that speed but the sound is still a bit wonky...Ah well, it's not perfect but my friends are still impressed

i unlocked the phone, restarted it, installed tgetfile.cab from my phone as it wouldn't let me run setup on my pc. i copied the emulator to my storage card on my phone, and put a few roms in the same folder. the emulator opens up just fine but when i click load rom and go to that folder, nothing shows up. i know the tgetfile is installed bc everytime i open something it tells me im getting the message because i'm using a trial version of it. does anyone know why my roms aren't showing up?

I'm new to this, just bought a BJ2 off ebay today. For PocketSNES and the NES emulator, do they support ROM .zip? Finally a reason to play with all my romsets again!

Ok guys, my first post. I've scoured the site trying to get pocket SNES to work, and I've done it....easily no less (yes, I have a Samsung Blackjack II). It works fine, my only reccomendation is that if you're going to run sound, overclock your phone and it will run almost totally smooth for at least some games.
Ok, tutorial.
0) When you download PocketSNES, DO NOT download PocketSNES.rar. Download PocketSNES153.rar or it WILL NOT WORK.
1) Download PocketSNES here: http://www.modaco.co...ocketSNES-1-53/
2) Download tgetfile.dll here (it's a direct download link): http://tillanosoft.c...tgfdllsp50e.zip
3) Connect your phone to your computer and make sure its recognized in activesync.
4) Install tgetfile.dll on your phone by running the installer ON YOUR COMPUTER.
5) Copy Pocketsnes.exe to your phone (I reccomend a folder called SNES)
6) Copy ROMs to your phone in the same folder as Pocketsnes.exe. (do not ask for places to get roms or anything of the sort)
7) Run Pocketsnes.exe on your phone and have fun...you have just EASILY gotten pocketsnes to work on your Blackjack II
Note: DO NOT use My Stuff to run pocketsnes as it will not work. Instead, go into applications and open "File Explorer". Explore to the location, and once you have pocketsnes.exe highlighted, press the center of the "scroll wheel".
I hope this helps at least someone!

Follow my tutorial. You did not download the program as I specified. You have a version for pocket PC, not smartphone...and you couldn't have gotten it through using my tutorial.

Athenon, thanks for this tutorial.
I followed the instructions for installing on my BJ2, but when I select ROMs they do not load; it just goes back to the splash screen for pocketsnes.
My first question is: do I need to unlock my phone in order to use pocketsnes? If so, I bet that is the problem. If not, could someone help me out? Thanks!
[edit: sorry for being a total newbie]: Yes, I had to unlock BJ II before pocketsnes would work. Thanks again for the tutorial.
