When i start it, it goes to the animated HTC screen, then it restarts, sometimes i goes a bit further then restarts. Have tried to remove the battery for 15min, and charge it for hours, no help. It  keeps on blinking orange.
Is it possible that some program could have caused this? (althoug no program is active now, i did a hardreset). Or is it hardware problem? buy new battery?

BTW where is the restartbutton? i only find on/off button.

The restart button is the little pinhole on the end of the device near the usb port.  Press the stylus firmley in there, and it does a soft reset.

But you must know that if you did a hard reset.

Pressing and holding the on/off button shuts the machine off - you get a dialog box before it shuts down - and then pressing it again reboots it.

As for the battery - is should last a year, I think, so it sounds like a warranty repair to me
