when i first got my phone off ebay i updated to the latest rom off the imate site using the  GPRS/EDGE "E" Icon on iMate SP5 - Resolution instructions, everything was fine. had to do it all again cos i messed it up somehow.
seems fine now and gprs "seems" to be working. used the imate configurator cab this time.

cept on the connections manager gprs is greyed out and cant be enabled, and the funnel icon doesnt change to the little G.  there's a big G showing in the top middle of the screen.

any ideas how to get little G back?
