Hello.  I just got a BJII a couple days ago and have been checking out a lot of the things you can do to it.  However, I have no experience with changing code on a device like this, but want to modify a couple things that I haven't found any concrete information on.  (I know how to program a little bit, so i'm not completely clueless.)  

The first problem that I'd like to address is the length of vibration time on an SMS message.  I looked around google for a while trying to find some info on how to change this, and only came up with some info on how to update it on a different phone (can't remember which one.)  Basically, this is what was said:

"Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\SMS create a new string value called Script and in the value data put v#. The # is the number of seconds you want itto vibrate for."

I was wondering if this is something that can be done on a BJII, and exactly how do you create a new string?

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\SMS create a new string value called Script and in the value data put v#. The # is the number of seconds you want it to vibrate for. To create a new string, right click on sms and choose create new string.
I did this and set my vibration length to 1 (vibrate for 1 second when i receive a text) it worked but it changed my setting for text on all profiles. I changed my profile to normal and it still vibrated instead of ringing. How do i fix it to vibrate for 1 second on texts but only during vibration profile????? Can anyone help please???
