Contacts not syncing

Hi everyone. I need help. For some strange reason my outlook contacts are not all syncing. I have over 150 contacts but only 100 or so are syncing. I have looked to see if there is anything in all the contacts that are not syncing that would connect them but I can't see any pattern to why some are syncing and others are not. This problem has only happened recently and up to a few days ago I was having no problem. I can't think if I have changed any setting son phone or computer, or changed anything in active sync or outlook that may have caused this to happen. It is really annoying as most of the contacts that haven't synced are the ones that I use most often.

If anyone else has had this problem or if any one can think of a solution that would be great. I have tried using the diagnostic on outlook 2007 and that doesn't work. I am using active sync on an xp machine, and have T-mobile touch plus. I can see no clear pattern on why some are syncing and others are not and have been messing around with it for a few days now but can't see a solution.

HELP please!!!

Have you tried deleting the partnership in active sync on both your pc and phone? I haven't had this exact trouble before, but sometimes a certain item wouldn't sync so creating a new profile generally works, refreshes everything :D

Solved it but it was a painfully process, and still don't know what was wrong. Tried your suggestion, didn't work, so ended up exporting the contacts that didn't sync and then deleting them from outlook and importanting them, and whatever I done it worked. Painfully but it worked.

Ouch, hate it when that happens!

It does almost sound as though the Contacts may have become corrupted or similar? Next time ( :D ) consider performing a ScanPST.exe on your PST file, this will search for any corrupted contacts (or data generally) within your PST.

ScanPST.exe can be found here -

drive:\Program Files\ Common Files \ System \ msmapi \ 1033 - for Office 2003

or

drive:\Program Files \ Microsoft Office \ Office12 \ scanpst.exe - for Office 2007

Hopefully this will do it for you!
