Is the Juno / Shadow for me?

Hi MoDaCo community, I finally signed up for an account after trolling around for a while.

I've been without a phone for a few months and decided I probably should get a new one. I'm getting T-Mobile and I'm not really sure how their plans work.

I've been wondering is the Shadow for me? It seems that messaging gets by pretty decent, but the main thing that's been on my mind is the mp3 playback capabilities and data.

How well does this phone play mp3's? How long is the charge for the mp3 player. Would it be a better idea to download a differnt media player than what is on stock ( such as http://store.allshadow.com/product.asp?id=...-for-SmartPhone or any free one or anything? )

How do data plan's work? All it is is that I can access the internet when I'm away from WiFi, am I correct on this? I will probably using small internet and maybe email (mobile gmail?). What kind of data plan with t-mobile would I need?

Thanks in advance,

Carlin

Edit** I've been looking around on another forum and saw something like a 9,99 data plan. What is all this about? I can't find anything abotu this on their website.

-- haven't had any problmes with WMP...does what it should. i just drove from chicago to mpls (7hrs) with WMP playing the entire time and i still had enough battery left to make some calls before plugging it in.

-- haven't done so...but if you don't hear from anyone here go search the forums at allshadow and ask there.

-- visit a tmo store, imo. there are 2 internet plans (edge and everything) for different prices. i don't use it, only wifi (which is free on the shadow). i believe for basic gmail stuff you only need the basic internet...not the full deal. also, check out allshadow as this has been discussed a ton.

good luck. tis a good phone...and if all else fails you can try it out and bring it back if not for you under the 2 wk rule.
