Is anyone else experiencing their screening turning off but the indicator lights are still flashing? I am on my second phone now (the screen cracked) and it has this sams problem and a friend also has the same problem. The only way you can get the screen to come back on again is to remove the battery.

Try pressing the power button to 'wake up'. If this works then look at settings>Key Lock, and Settings>Backlight
SPVE200>>MPX200>>MPX220>>XDA IQ>>XDA Graphite>>Touch Dual

My Dual quite often will not wake up from standby.
The green light still flashes as if it's on, but pressing the standby button does nothing. The only solution is a battery pull.
It sounds like this is what you are saying is happening to yours too.
The only thing i've installed is Co-pilot Live, and the Modaco C-A cab fix. I've also added a 4gb Sandisk HC card to it.

sounds like this is quite a common problem. Does anyone know if there is a fix?

I just sent mine back to the phone company because it was doing this.
I think it may be related to having a picture on the desktop.
When I leave the screen as standard it does not have this porblem.
I could be wrong of course.

Or alternatively, a ROM other than the stock ROM?

HTC Prophet - WM6.5.1 23081
HTC Touch Diamond - WM6.5.3 Light (28014)
HTC Leo - Getting repaired - WM6.5.3 (28014)
Cooking is easier with devices ;)
