T-Mobile Dash Camera Issue

I have a T-Mobile Dash running HTC S621 WM6.1. Recently my camera stopped working; I tried flashing back to original ROM and that did nothing; i opened the phone and checked the connections, still nothing. The phone is now back to the S621 ROM and the screen looks like this:

Looks like the camera hardware is faulty.

I would suggest that you contact HTC to see if they can fix it under warranty (if there's one), however because you've opened the phone, you could have voided the warranty...
