I want to install tomtom 6 onto my i320 and have spent 3hrs trying to work out how to do it - my tomtom version is 6.10

please can anyone help me with a talk through guide

TomTom 6 was not written for the Windows Smartphone, there was only a Pocket PC and symbian versions made.
You need TomTom5 which is practically impossible to buy now due to its age.
