P I did that after I posted and I don't like it being so close to the passenger and so far from me. Something more custom is called for, plus I'll need USB access to it in the future. I'm a little concerned that it might wear the edges of the phone down, but it does slide smoothly...in a tight way :D I'm not sure how this compares to the Diamond fitting in the mount. anyone? I found it very tight to start off with, almost to the point of wearing away the sides of the phone. After a few weeks though it seems to slackened off somewhat.
