Need profile scheduler

I am desperate for a WM6 profile scheduler, similar to CTScheduler but WM6 compatible. I want to be able to let my kaiser change profiles at certain times of the day, vibrate, ring and silent. Might be nice for it to change depending on location too.

Anyone know any out there that work on the kaiser?

PhoneAlarm

It's the daddy.

I should check the site more often - when this question gets asked i am always beaten to it by Wearthefoxhat

I use Phone Alarm with a custom full screen skin. It is the only thing on my today screen. I do use the Touch Commander cube as well tho, for access to contacts and applications.

I use phoneweaver, works a treat http://www.sbsh.net/product.php?id=28

Phoneweaver is okay, but PA has a much better feature-set. The automatic profile switching based on location (e.g., my profile switches to "office" when I get to work, regardless of what time I get into the office) is worth it in itself.

How's that work then?

Not that it would do me much good, since I work at home. But the ability to recognise certain locations would be cool.

It's very neat. PA sets up 'Location Groups', so you can have a group for 'Office', 'Home', etc. You add known locations to the groups - these can be CellIDs, WLAN SSIDs, Cell broadcast locations or, if your device supports it, GPS areas (with a predefinable range, e.g., "within 100m of this GPS location").

Once you've set up your location group, you can then trigger profile switches by certain actions, such as "Enter office" or "Leave home". PA listens for CellID/GPS/WLAN notifications, and then triggers these rules as applicable.

For example, I have it set up so that:

- When I arrive in the vicinity of my office, my phone switches to silent wifi off, etc

- When I arrive in the vicinity of my home, my phone switches to vibrate, wifi on, etc.

- When I leave either of these vicinities (e.g., I'm out & about) my screen brightness increases, rinnger is enabled, wifi is off, etc.

It's so much better than time-based profile switching, because if I take a day off, or leave work early or late, they still kick in, whereas this actually changes my phone behaviour based on where I am.

I believe in the latest version you can combine time and location-switching rules, so that I could have different settings for home during the week, and home at weekends, etc. But I don't use that.

I'm going to reinstall PhoneAlarm and have a go with that, it could be so advantageous.

(Id installed a new rom, and not got around to installing anything other than the basics )
