Sat Nav Software For Diamond / Touch Pro

I've been using Tracky which is good for on and off road navigation. It uses Google Maps which it can download live, or your can download from your PC in advance. This can be a disadvantage if you do not have a good phone radio signal, and means it can be slower to download maps than from pre-installed mapping, but does have full mapping and satellite views of Google Maps.

As I already have Sat Nav in my car it tends to get used more when cycling or walking off road.

For me it's CP7 all the way.

But I'd never heard of Tracky for off road use - just downloaded, cheers for that Kushmir, I'll give it a try.

Just to add, as I was reminded by the mention of Tracky (which I've never heard of, so will check out), that I use GPS Tuner for offroad stuff and route mapping. Great bit of software! Will be interested to see how it compares with Tracky.

Another one to try - thanks.

But then, I can't remember the last time I was so far away from a road I'd need something like this.....

Im using Garmin Mobile XT. Works like a charm, also with screen rotation, and the maps doesnt take up very much space.

Only problem is that mapsource doesnt show my device for map uploading purposes, but i managed to get the maps over by simply using a microSDHD card on my laptop, and from there i copied the map onto the garmin folder on my phone.
