Guest datafanatic Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 i use Sygic McGuider , ( tomtom clone ) works straight off , no GPSgate no data connection needed gets a fix really quickly where tomtom stalled on the "poor gps signal screen " most of the time . its flawless cheers On your Omnia? Guest prp Posted October 8, 2008 Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 Does someone have a problem when you start igo8 and then close it and then start tomtom 7 or garmin xt they can't find gps on com3 but igo8 works fine and you have to make soft reset tt7 and garmin then see the gps? Guest devalian Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 hi, im using Mapasia Mapking.. im from asia, my country map only popular in garmin n mapking.. but, i found that even though the latest of Garmin Map doesnt allow me to search for address. i using the same garmin on my pc "mapsource", i can search easily. but, when i using GArmin Mobile XT, i cant search address.. so no point for SatNav dy.. im now using Mapking which is good for me.. Sounds like you’re using IGO 8.3, at the moment 8.3 is not compatible with the omnia, but I think people are working on a fix, 8.0 works ok.
