Hi Guys,

Just got my 16GB i900 from Orange yesterday. Moved back to WM from a 2G iPhone and even though I'm not totally convinced by the Omnia yet, I'm willing to give it a go.

I was just wondering about the update a few people seem to be mentioning a few other threads. Where do I get this so called update?

My firmare version seems to be i900XXHG5/MSGHG1.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Oz

Dont quote me, but I think HG5 is the most recent one.

Orange regrets to inform you that their network will be going down in 1 hours time for all users apart from yourself. This is because nothing would go down on you, not even a network!

With all these roms floating about. I thought the following would be useful. I never really understood how Samsung named their Roms. So here's what I have found

Samsung ROM Codes

The firmware code is split into individual sections:

L760 - > model designation (SGH-L760).
XX - > region / network carrier designation (XX = Spain - open Market).
G - > release year (E = 2007).
K - > release month (K = November).
1 - > version number.
