Hello Guys,

After Mucho phone calls I managed to get my free upgrade from Vodafone today...

Anyways, I have installed my TomTom Nav 6.030 that was on my Palm Treo 750, It installed fine, but
when I go to run it, I get a memory access violation.

I have tried deleting maps/ POI's and voice, but no luck. :D

Can a kind soul give me any pointers to get over this issue.  :D

btw It is a full pucker version of the TT software.

Basically the version you have may not support the Omnia.
I have a version of TT6 from beta testing days that will work on one device but not another.
Presumably you have reactivated your maps to the Omnia so it may be worth giving TT a call and see if there is an update available.

HiHi..

I contacted TT before loading the software and they informed me it is unsupported atm, but thats not abnormal, as the Omnia is still v new.

In the past I have been able to load onto unsupported phones. With TT Nav 6, you can change the software to a new phone every 6 months. I have had it on my Palm for a good 18 months at least.

if anyone has any work arounds/fix.. Then  i'm all ears :D

Really?! Your ditching the Omnia just because your having some teething issues with Tomtom?
As mentioned earlier, search for the Tomtom 7.45 cab (that was designed to work with the diamond) this works fine with a little tweaking

Not just because of the TT issues. I don't like the phone much. I have big hands and find using the touch screen alone a difficult. the idea of having an external stylist is crap and overal the phone isn't robust enough for me.

Roll on the Touch Pro :D

Hi, has anybody got TTN6 to work on Omnia yet?
Looks like TTN7 is not going to be released in UK as standalone product
