Well, that is a shame... I have it working... untill I forget that i should close the keyboard part before I turn n twist. That is odd... makes me wonder - as this is really speeding up my use of the machine normally. Thanks for confirming it, and for trying it out - marvellous job your doing here, and it isnt said enough!!!

not your fault dude, its the phone's fault, somehow DXHI2 also "rejected" resco keyboard pro, somethings wrong with the implementation of keyboard on HI2 which i cant point my finger to.

hmmm...somehow it's not working very well with my HH3.
Vers1 was fantastic! Vers2 hangs sometimes.
But hey Pual, regardless, u did a good job man!

I've got HG4 and got some error after the reboot, once I set my sip settings and rebooted seemed to work. However after a second soft reset-for good measure-when entering in portrait was keypad, when changed to landscape it swapped over to the Samsung Keyboard but locked up the phone.

rebooted it a couple of times and switched the orientation now it works like a gem.

I lied, seems to work ok for a few then locks up... oh well went back to version 1 which rocks thanks Paul!

On HI3 I have a problem with second version - when I switch default sip to keypad and touch Save I have a message that "Default Landscape SIP updated" but I was changing default sip in portrait mode. And after SR I'm still having keyboard instead of keypad

Do not pay attention that on the screen the keyboard is checked - I was trying to change to keyboard and back to keypad

Sorry, but any chance of adding the other options like "Letter recogniser" and "Block recogniser" as well?
It is definitely a nice little app.

How did you get the space bar in the middle for the qwerty? I'm waiting for my OMNIA to arrive, but from what i've seen playing with it is that the original qwerty keyboard in landscape is on the far right (horrible). In your picture, it's in the middle :s. Does this installer file include the keyboard or only the app to switch?

Ohhh that might do it! LOL! The ROM I was playing with was the Spanish version :S. What's the latest English build (and of course, where can I download it?) (that's stable and that has good battery life! haha. That's really the most important thing for me). I checked out the samsung page but they don't have the UK as a place to download the OS's. They're all these nonenglish speaking countries. So I have no idea! Could you direct me to a thread that does have the latest builds? Thanks You're the bomb! My Omnia should be here this week! I'm too excited

I´d like to use the MS Keyboard when my Omnia starts. I don´t like the samsung ones. ¿Can I set this keyboard by default? ¿How?

I think this may be what you are looking for and work for you (SIPChange).  I have used it on other Win mobile phones before.
