Guest Lers88
Er, are you using the original SD card? P Yes, I do. That's the strange thing about it. I've had this earlier with a PNA based Gps-system and than I had the illegal version. Now I have the original SD-Card and it doesn't work. Also I've tried to copy the content within the SD card to the internal storage of the Samsung I900, but that still hasn't effect.
Guest adzrm
i had to use another installer and everything worked perfectly http://forum.telefonino.net/showthread.php?t=461393 link from second post(mediafire)

I'm keep getting the same error: program application database cannot be found. please insert original application sd card How can I solve this? Are you installing it via the 2577 folder on the SD card? If it doesn't autorun, open the 2577 folder and tap 'Autorun'; this ought to configure the installation for the correct Storage Card label. If not, you will need to edit the sys.txt file to show the correct label, if Samsung use something non-standard

Guest Neil5459
What must be in the sys.txt than? Mine has: [folders] app="%SDCARD%/iGO8" [interface] maxzoom2d=6000000 show_exit=1 This is for a standard WM Pro device with a mini/micro SD card slot. If your SD Card slot is called something else (look in File Explorer for its name) the 'app=' line needs changing to reflect it. There are copies of sys.txt in the Program Files/iGO8 folder in main memory and on the SD card. Copy both before making any changes, then change both. Guest BazzaE
I changed my sys.txt file to app="My Storage/iGO8" and it works. Than when you start it make sure you have the phone in landscape. Edited October 7, 2008 by BazzaE

It seems that your DATA.zip file does not have the correct screen resolution in it that relates to the Omnia. Unzip the file and see if there is a folder 400_240 and 240_400, if there isn't then you need a different data.zip file. My sys.txt file looks like this: [folders] app="%SDCARD%/iGO8" [interface] skin="ui_igo8" resolution_dir="400_240" maxzoom2d=6000000 show_exit=1 vga=0 [rawdisplay] screen_x=400 screen_y=240 class="landscape" [map] 3d_max_tiltlevel=9000 [poi] enable_pois_before_080217=1 [debug] skip_eula=1 smart_2d=1 enable_roadshadow=1 [msnd] msnd.start=0 As you can see, the app looks for the 400_240 folder within ui_igo8 (within data.zip) - All working for about 2 months now, beats TT7 hands down (just wish i could put some 'comical' voices into iGO8 (or find out how to convert TT7 voices??) Guest dragonriot
ok... now that I have it running in fullscreen mode, how do I get it to run in OPPOSITE or REVERSE Landscape... so when I want to charge my omnia while using the gps, I can just flip it over and plug it in... it only works with the hardkeys to the left. Very annoying...

Guest wushdishmeen
Okay so I download iGo8 and installed it on my Omnia's MicroSD card and everything works great. I am able to use it in both Portrait and Landscape mode so I'm not sure what you guys meant by it not working in portrait?? I am basically looking for someone to direct me to a place to get custom Voices, Cars, and skins for iGo8? I would like to find a car that looks like mine if not exact and a cool voice like a celebrity or something? A nice skin would be cool too. I see a lot of people saying they downloaded this stuff but nobody has put up any links to share? Edited June 16, 2009 by wushdishmeen
Guest xtiger
Has anyone else had issues with memory when running it? I have 27mb left on my device and 36mb of memory free. That should be enough to execute the app shouldn't it? I already have the app installed so it's fine there. Any suggestions?
Guest Revhead
Check out this thread . . . I'm using Igo8 version 8.0.0.54000 with TTS which now works just fine, particulary if you update GPS data regularly using Wifi so it doesn't cost (I think I read somewhere where 8.3 causes problems) http://www.samsung-omnia.org/precise-gps-n...imes-and-speed/ Edited June 16, 2009 by Revhead
