The Omnia has a great tweek in windows that allows you to stregnthen and indeed regulate the vibrate.  

I dont have great hearing and rely on the vibrate; unfortunately it's not very strong - not on my touch pro anyway.  Can someone please point me to a .cab or tweak.  Thanks.

Not sure about changing the intensity of the vibrate but there is an application called Valert that allows you to set the vibrate pattern for different types of alert.  I use it for incoming calls as they were just one long vibrate and sometimes I got it mixed up with vibrations in the car.  Now it's obvious that it's my phone ringing.  Search forum.xda-developers.com for Valert to try it.

My vibrate is far too strong, it's nearly louder than the actual ringing... So I'm hoping for something to turn it down :/
