Hiya

I bought a mini-usb to stereo jack cable a while ago on ebay.  Every time I plug it into my amplifier my phone seems to want to either dial my last number or go into voice dial mode.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Is this a common flaw or have I just bought a duff cable?  All I want it to be able to plug my phone into a set of speakers or an amp to play the music I have on it.

Any advice appreciated!

Sounds like you got a faulty/incorrect one.

I have one which also has a microphone call button and mini usb socket for charging which works perfectly when plugged into an external amplifer.
