trying to upgrade my Omnia to PV02 , and I followed all the steps;

- Hard resetting the mobile.

-Restarting my XP PC and switching off Anti virus and Fire wall .

- setting up Samsung modem ( more than once) .

- connecting to active sync , and then switching off the mobile.

- running the updater and then resetting my device.

- Pushing the start button which is active now.

I did that twice for PV02 and PV03 m and in everytime I get "Checksum failed "

I thought I had some experince since this is my 5th rom upgrade without any problem.

Can some one help please ??

I'm having the exactly same error. I'm using an XP machine with activesync and the modem driver installed. I connect the phone, sync and connect with activesync, start the rom program, reboot the device(have tried a soft reset and using the power button) and upon rebooting, the program detects the phone, and the "start" button is clickable. It begins to update, but instead of completing the process, it just loads the Eboot to 100% 3 times, then says checksum failed. What are we doing wrong!?
