Tips for maximising my Omnia battery life?

I've had my Omnia for a few days now, but already it has become fairly apparent with my kind of usage I am going to struggle to last a day without flattening the battery after I managed to go from full charge to very near empty today in under 2 hours when using the GPS with Google Maps to locate a shop. Fair enough I did have bluetooth and wifi enabled, and also iFonz plus a few S2 apps, but at the end of the day these were exactly the sort of things that attracted me to the Omnia in the first place.

In addition to phone calls, these are the things I'll probably be using my Omnia for on a regular/semi regular basis (i.e at least a couple of times a week);

- GPS with GoogleMaps

- Camera

- SMS/MMS/Email

- Internet

- Movies

- Music

- Bluetooth stereo headset for music and movies (I hate wires with a passion, and one of the main reasons I didn't go with the iPhone)

I would also like to use some form of slick UI as the majority of the time I'll have no need to go into Windows Mobile itself. At the moment I am using iFonz with the S2U2 app, but will probably move to something like SPB in the coming weeks. In a nutshell, I didn't get the Omnia to NOT use the extra functionality it offers.

Anyway, just wondering what power saving tips other Omnia users have? I'm already planning to upgrade to a 3000 mAh battery which should help a lot over the standard 1440 mAh, but was just wondering if there are any other things I could be doing such as using a specific ROM version, or editing the registry/settings to tweak connection timeouts and the like?
